Tamworth Caregivers

Tamworth Caregivers was founded in 1999 in response to needs identified by the Tamworth Community Nurse. Our services are available to all residents of Tamworth.

 

Our vision is to provide neighborly services to all residents—regardless of income, race, religion, or age—to build a better, more caring community.

 

The mission of Tamworth Caregivers is to develop support services provided by volunteers to serve residents who, from time to time or, on a continuing basis, require assistance to meet their daily obligations and/or enhance their quality of life.

 

The services we provide include phone reassurance, transportation to appointments and shopping, delivery of prescriptions and library books, friendly visits, and light chores. We do not provide medical assistance or child care, and we are not able to provide wheelchair transportation.

 

All services are provided by non-professional volunteers, and there is never a fee. If you wish to make a tax deductible donation, you may send it to:
